Sue/Judy the link above is to PACKARDBELL and is TO A DRIVER PATCH for these printers(Diamond Series) to stop this problem (it seems). It looks like the site is down at the moment as the link was working earlier. You could also try here http://www.scanner-drivers(.)com But you have to register. The one at PBell seems to auto install (when I read it earlier) Don't forget brackets crap Computers take over the world ? Not while Microsoft and GR are here to stop them. Bob

Sue, You are not the only person, but differnet scanner! I have Epson cx3200, scanner has been a pain in the b*t from day 1. Instructions on this thing only relate to the copier! derrrr, think I know how a copier should perform!!! but zilch on the scanner. Have to 'unlock' then 'relock' don't bother with it too much these days now, too much hassle. Kim

Hi Judy, Nice to hear from you again, I will try that tomorrow, it seems that a lot of people with this make have the same problem I didn't realise that you had to update them...........

Judy

Judy Report 24 Oct 2004 22:39

Try going to the manufacturer's website....there are usually drivers posted at their sites that you may need updating on your particular scanner model..... Judy :)
