It was sunny around lunch time but has been piddling down ever since piddled down all yesterday and last night too - the roads were flooded! Tonight we have had thunder and lightening so it's real snuggle up to fire weather in Preston. G :-)

I didn't take a brolly and it was warm and sunny at lunch time. Off for supper now, and just another glass to warm me up.

Having spent the entire day in the office, helping out our IT guy...(just don't ask why he wasn't able to fit in the pre-arranged visit midweek)... I locked up and stepped outside. I got wet double locking the door. I got drenched by a speeding car as I waited outside the office for the lights to change. In the two minutes it took me to reach the station and shelter for a taxi, I got saturated to the skin. Cars were swerving to avoid the torrents racing along the gutters, it was single lane where the storm drain couldn't cope and a geyser shot into the air. Hope the rest of you are warm and dry. Brenda
