after going back and reading again threads, please check your contacts list and serious sugestion on the tips board i am so glad to find im not the only one to make the same mistake but to me it was common sense if you could see allow then you were allowing some one to see your tree and if you could see remove then you had removed permission, i have sent an e-mail to GR to say how unhappy i am that it was so easy to be confused by the wording that i have now allowed lots of people to veiw my private info that i really didnt want to show them Tina

Hi Maz, ive had it all wrong from the start, ive been doing it the other way around, there are some people on here that think i am so rude that i havent let them look at my tree when they have let me look at theirs, i will have to put up a big appologie Tina

Hi Tina As far as I know, those of your contacts that say 'Allow' next to them mean that you have to click on the 'Allow' to let that particular contact view your tree. Those that say 'remove' mean that the contact already has the permission to view your tree, you must click on ' remove' to remove the privilege. This sounds confusing to me, even though I know what I'm on about - hope you understand!!! Sam

Hi all, ive just ben looking at the tips page and came across a thread that has got me really confused, is said that if you didnt want some one to veiw your tree you must have the allow slogan showing and not the remove is this really right? if it is i have made some big mistakes those i didnt want to see can and those i did want to see cant , i hope some one can explain it all to me Tina
