i have gone down the spirit route, more so since a medium told me a little girl visits me on mondays and wednesday, last wednesday electrical stuff was playing up at same time then i remembered the day , this week it was monday or tuesday, i can see the reasoning in spirits moving light or little things but a bottle of jon paul gaultier is aving a laugh. and even my son said , ask nana to put it back mum, (mum is in spirit). i dont seem to get the things back either, im upset about this latest as son bought it in spain. i mean play games with my stuff but dont touch my kids stuff. i have had front door lock changed recently as my bag was stolen, and phone number changed after wierd phone calls and now i put this together it makes me worry that i know who this person is. (our local car thief, who has tried to intimidate us for 2 years). my hubby is always in the house when im not though, i know he could sleep on the streets of beirut sometimes and the dog shes scared of the hamster.

Julie Anne this sounds more worrying than when I first read your posting. If anyone has access to your house and can mess with your family's things they are capable of more. Please consider reporting this.

gosh! i would have called the police by now,the situations obviously far more serious than i first thought,i am always losing things after hiding them in a safe place(only to find i caanot remember where) but yours is a far more complicated matter i feel. good luck in getting to the bottom of this.

i've had things go missing before and a saw on a programme once to ask St Antony to help you find them,i did and guess what a few days later i found what i was looking for.but about 4 weeks ago hubby put my earings on the mantlepiece, then next morning one had gone,we've looked everywhere and even lifted the carpet up but no luck,so i asked St Antony but still no luck(perhaps he's got a thing for earings and is keeping it for himself) Karen

Report to the police and get it on file. Then Lay a trap. Put an item of jewellary/money/camera on the shelf. Tell family not to touch it. If you can rig up a camera it will be ideal. If it does go missing and is not caught on tape chances are fingerprints will be. E x

I got half way through the reply before this one when it suddenly vanished. It didn't like being talked about. i'LL TRY AGAIN.We have lived in this house for over twenty years and things are always going missing. I don't mean we mislay things,I mean they just vanish from where you have placed them. We bought Shrek when it came out and enjoyed it very much.It was then put away in our video cupboard where ll our Vid's are files. We can always put our hand exactly on what we want as not only are they catalogued but they are stacked in a way thet makes retrieval quick. When Shrek 11 was released in the Cinemas, we thought about the original film and went to get it from the cupboard. It was not there. I looked thoroughly on every shelf and my husband looked. I looked again, taking every singl Video out of the cupboard and replacing each one carefully. It was certainlu not there. Later in the week my Mum came to spend the day with us and I went to the cupboard to get her favorite out for her to warch and to my surprise, there just inside the cupboard door on its side, not files with the rest was SHREK. Now tell me -WHERE HAD IT BEEN AND WHERE DID IT COME FROM ?

Dooley is our Spook I saw him today knock a lighter off the arm of a chair onto a coffee table, then off the coffee table onto the floor, and I intercepted it as he was kicking it towards his "Purrsonal Space" under the recliner. Later he was dragging a crochet hook in the same direction. Any pets involved? Jim

thanks everyone for your replys , some helpful hints there. i want to let you all know that after i had spoken last night on here and told you all about spooky things happening and my son saying about asking spirits to put it back ( i did all day say to myself , just put it back mum where ever it is show me now as this isnt funny). i went upstairs to chat to my daughter who had gone to bed and tell her about advice on here and i went to sons room , looked under his bookcase and the bottle of jon paul gaultier was laying on the floor , as if it had been placed under his tractor my dad gave him when he was small. i yelled oh my god, i had looked their earlier tuesday morning , lunchtime tuesday and emptied his wardrobe and at 6pm we had a guy come to sort out a damaged seel on window and i had wiped dust off surfaces then in sons room. the bottle was not their then. i did say thanks mum if she could hear me! however worry of tonite is 3 anonymous calls after 5pm when hubby goes to work and as noone only family know our new number i am thinking maybe i will go to police , the thing is they are so bloody unhelpful in this area. thanks everyone for your advise

i called ntl as they are our local phone company all they offered to do was bloke anonymous numbers or change our number again , i told them go for the first option as id have to much hassle telling others new number . i did mention puting up a camera but hubby thinks im mad im sure, and forgot to mention i have no toddlers my two are 13 and 18 .when the rings went missing i told police for insurance reasons, and the copper said you sure kids havent taken them to get money for drugs, when i told him politely that should they even blow thier noses id knw about it, he still wasnt convinced. insurance wanted photos of me wearing the rings. i gave up , put it down to experience .
