Gabrielle was on Womans Hour one morning she was saying she had a very hard time in School because of the problem with her eye and she has these massive feet the other kids used to take the mick out of her so much as became obsessed about not showing both on her videos. It was a good interview she came across very natural, very grateful for her success, (don't know why she is talented) especially her songwriting which is why Bob Dylan wanted her to use "Knockin' on Heavens' door" for the song "Rise" and he even waived the writing royalites, because he claimed she had done such a great job on it. She also spoke very candidly about the trouble she had (with her bloke) which made her write the song "Rise". I think she's GREAT. Pat x

Reminded me of a Lenny Henry sketch. He was dressed up as her "singing" and each time the camera cut away a new piece of clothing would apppear. Eventually she ended up as a pirate, parrot en all.

Really silly question coming. Me and my mate were watching TV today and they had a Gabrielle video on - 'Dreams can come true' - where she wears an eye patch or has half her face in shadow. In other vids she wears her shades all the time. Can anyone tell us what she has wrong with her eye that she keeps it hidden - we couldn't remember. I know there will be SOMEONE who knows! Thank you.... Maz. XX
