We made a pumpkin pie a couple of months ago, was really nice. Recipe came from the BBC site I think. |

Just off to buy two LARGE pumpkins for my friend's party tonight. Its my job to scoop and carve. The insides are soooo slimy that I couldn't imagine doing anything with them! Hate getting it under my nails. BUT I have eaten pumpkin in the US and it was delicious. One of those things that I will eat if someone else prepares it - like sole and liver -but couldn't touch myself! Maz. XX x x + vvvvv stupid GC doesn't space it out .... grrrrr |

In aus we use a lot pumpkin, makes lovely soup, muffins,scones, and roasted like potatoes, all very yummy but you need the right pumpkin some can be very watery . ANN |
