The new Doctor Who (Christopher Ecclestone), will be facing flying Daleks!.. Yes Daleks will be able to fly now, for the new series.. anybody still scared of them?, apparently in a TV poll last year they were voted the most scariest villains on TV!.. "We will exterminate!"..

As a child (early '60's) my mum took me into Selfridges in London to look round the store. We ended up in the toy and pram deparment where there were Daleks on show from the Dr Who t.v. series. They moved around and talked and were ok until one went berserk, rushing around and banging into displays and people. I was terrified and have never liked them since. Viv

Who was in charge of the daleks? He had a funny upper torso on a dalek bottom.

John, I think I heard on the "Today" programme this morning that the Daleks were to have rocket booster packs. I did a summer holiday job in a local toy shop in the mid 1960's and we used to vie with one another to demonstrate the battery driven toy daleks. Great fun! Rosemary(Essex)
