Hi folks - I put a thread on Records today asking if anyone has a marriage index for Brighton covering 1920s and 1930s. Just wondered if any of you might be able to help as not having any luck so far - Please email me if you can help and I'll give further info - Thank You :))

Sheila - email gratefully received with thanks - have replied with a bit more info. Lynda - I have found your Humph. on 1871 census - apparently aged 85, then I have a possible death record in 1872 but aged 81!! I know they sometimes got their ages muddled back then. Also a potential marriage! Mmmmm - can just taste that pudding already LOL

Lynda - did a 'sondex' search and Pallots 1780-1837 came up with an image of a HUMPHREY FOWELL who married a MARIA TUCKER 22 Dec 1816 at St Martin in the Fields..
