Could someone please tell me how I would go about finding out how and when my GG grand father came from Ireland to the UK sometime between 1850 and 1880. Regards Michaela |

Michaela Its hard to do this people going to & from Ireland within the British Isles did not need passports travel cards or any other documentation. There is also no passenger lists that I know of. The only way of knowing is when they turn up on the census. Not much help, sorry Pat x |
