Hello Hal, It may be expensive but it is genuine. The 'authentic' articles you see touted in tourist gift shops and on genealogy sites are mostly schemes of get-rich-quick merchants and have absolutely no factual basis whatsoever. The college of Arms is the ONLY place authorised to issue coats of arms and control heraldry in this country. Bernie |

Some one was asking about getting coats of arms or finding out about them.I gave an Idea of where to get them,but now I,ve found the Address if anyone is still interested.it is.Robert Noel,Bluemantle Pursuivant,College of Arms,Queen Victoria Street,London.EC4V 4BT.
