DOG OWNERS TAKE NOTE

I hate dog poo as much as anyone, but what about cats ! There is nothing worse than working in the garden and getting your hands covered in cat mess. I can get an injunction against a dog owner to stop his or her dog from fouling my garden but there is nothing I can do to stop cat owners letting their cats out so they can c**p in my garden and not their own. And don't you cat owners tell me to put down orange peel or that I can buy special pellets to deter your little darlings. WHY SHOULD I ? It should be YOUR responsibility to keep them at home and away from my property. |

Maz - I'm a dog owner, but I've always got a pocket full of 'poo' bags (empty of course) at the ready! Even when he does it in the long grass, I pick it up, I only draw the line if it's in the stinging nettles! He's very good, and will not go on the pavement or road. I totally agree with you - dog owners should clear up after their pets! |

Glad to see you are all good little doggy owners! What really got me is that we are getting a new carpet in the living room very soon and it is PALE!!! If it had already been down then I would've gone ballistic! Just like with the blimmin fireworks, there is a possible fine but I wonder how often anyone is actually caught and even more, how many are prosecuted. None I bet. Maz. XX |

Morning Maz... I totally agree with you, and as a dog owner feel just as sickened by these irresponsible owners as you do. In fact they give other dog owners a bad name. I can't count the number of times I have offered bags to such people or pointed out to them the error of their ways. But I just get ignored or abused - not that that will stop me telling them off! Maz, I feel for you, and with the darker evenings, you can't see it - or the stuff that has been smeared by other unfortunates!! I always clear up behing my daughters alsatian cross when I walk her, and I have to truthfully say my cat only does it in my garden - as is evident by the dead flowers if I don't dig a bit of earth for her, and the number of times, when digging a hole for a new plant, I come back and find it already filled!!! My daughter and I get really riled by those who don't act responsibly! - and cats can be trained to use their own gardens, otherwise how could they be trained to use a dirt tray???!!! maggie |

our neighbour (4 cats) says "our cats only ever do it in the house" ... really ? how do they know, do they follow them around all day then ? am I imagining the cat poo that used to fill our garden, before we got the dog that is... |

Aw I heard something terrible on the radio today, that people scoop the poop, pop it in a bag and then dispose of it in the Post Box - I ask you, how could someone do that - DISGUSTING I have a dog and it's my responsibility to deal with her 'bottom products' in a decent manner A xxx |

Not guilty, mine always does it on the bridleway or if she does it on the path I have a bag to pick it up with. Besides, I'm not in the east end, so can't be mine lol |

I so hope that all you dog owners are not like the ones round here. My hubby has just come in and tracked sh*t all round the house cos some selfish git has not picked up after their dog RIGHT OUTSIDE MY HOUSE. If I knew who it was then I would knock on their door and it would be smeared all round THEIR home for the benefit of THEIR kids. SELFISH IGNORANT PIG GRRRRRRRRR Sorry, needed a rant!!! Maz. XX |
