I actually found 2 wills on the NA website that belong within my family tree...........I couldn't believe how EASY it was to purchase & download. Not to have to wait for them either via post like we do our BMD's .........now if I could only read them LOL!!!

I've got two wills from that site - 1635 and 1820(I think). I have yet to decipher all of it but I do know that on the one dated 1635 one of my husband's ancestors left 20 shillings to be distributed to all the poor of the parish after his burial - probably to make sure that he got a good turn out! Go to this url : www(.)documentsonline(.)nationalarchives(.)gov(.)uk/ Scroll down to :More than 1 million wills online.......and click on search the wills.......... its as easy at that!! One of my wills is for Nicholas Pulham 1667 the Other George Charles Hoste 1845. I'm amazed lol..........usually it takes a flight home from here in Ireland to go searching...........shame the whole tree aint on line LOL!!

Will be surprised if I find any wills on there from my dad's side of the family, they were either ag labs or miners! Still will have a look.

Andy even poor people would make wills......I have one of my 6 x grt granma Bridget PULHAM 1809 she was an Ag lab. So you never know : )

Try going to "View" then "Text Size" take to the size you want,Then Print,It Should Work. Good Luck.Hal.
