Well Paul... 1 has just split from her fiancee (were together for 7 years) 1 is on the verge of splitting (her boyf is an idiot) And the other will not know if she's single until the day before the holiday as her and her stupid, idiot boyf argue all the time (that's me!) All those squaddies sounds extremely tempting but unfortunately I doubt they could handle the three of us :-) becx

If you do go to butlins buy booze & keep it in chalet, drink some before you hit the club, saves cash. But dont go in drunk or theyll chuck you out lol E x

Center parcs, Thetford, maybe. A bit pricy but loads to do, if you like swimming, boozing, cycling, boozing, horse-riding, boozing, etcetera. Let us all know where you choose. Have fun, Brian ;-))

I am told Nottingham is lively with lots to do. That comes from my niece at Uni, so you way want to bear that in mind! LOL

Why thank you Mr Moss! We were thinking a bit closer to home (far away so we can no longer see the dartford bridge or the glare from the white stilettos!) becx

... for a long weekend away? It's for myself and 2 girlfriends, we want to escape beautiful, picturesque Essex and go somewhere for a weekend in December. Nowhere too expensive, somewhere with a bit of a nightlife (lively pub would do) and maybe somewhere with something of interest to do during the day? Any suggestions would be greatly received. I thank you all Becx
