My GG Grandfather was born in Germany but married in the UK in 1881, if I was to send off for his marriage certificate would it have his parents names on it? Also where is the best place to order it online from. Regards Michaela |

It would have his father's name on it (assuming he wasn't illegitimate as more often than not, the entry against father's name is left blank). It's possible to order certificates online: http://www.gro(.)gov(.)uk/gro/content/certificates/ *remove brackets* |
