Chaps, the surgery means that my mouth won't open wide enough for anything but a teaspoon, since tuesday I have managed a bowl of porridge and a cup of soup but what other soft food can I eat? Please don't say liquidise stuff as it looks so revolting that I just can't bring myself too swallow it!! I am dying for a curry or some crispy duck but guess I'll just have to wait for that!! :O) |

Chicken noodle soup, yogurt, jello, milkshakes. Smoothies (in a blender mix 1 banana, 3T yogurt, 1c milk, 10 strawberries, several scoops vanilla ice cream). you can vary the fruit. Good luck. Deb |

Know what you mean Diana, I lived on chicken soup, and milky drinks drunk through a straw with soggy rich tea finger biscuits, and mashed Farleys rusks!.. Surprising how quick it heals, hope it's not too bad for you! Diana is...sore in the gum!.. |

Diana When I had my wisdom teeth out I was the same , but I did make curried scrambled eggs, and I added alsorts of flavours and spices etc to mash potato., cos I got sick of bland food. Made milk shakes and had hot choc (cooled )with squirty cream on top and a flake stuck in it to melt and drank that through a thick straw Hope you are feeling better Hun Love Jan |

Porridge and cuppa soup so far but thanks for all your suggestions..... I think flavoured mash is going to be the answer with lots of gravy eaten with a teaspoon!! :O) |
