I was looking up a name and found this person was working at Windsor Castle in 1881. Included on this census is the Queen and the rest of the royals and all the servants including John Brown. Jo.

I'm so glad you all found it so interesting. When I first looked at the Gower name, it came up as THE QUEEN as the head of household, I thought it was a joke. I would'nt mind a few servants to help me out now and again. Jo.
