For those of you who may have read my thread on Sunday evening, about my father dying. I had been estranged from my father for eleven years, no contact what so ever. On Sunday I put his name into Google, what made me do it, I don't know. Anyway I found out that he had died on January 24th this year. I sat here in front of my computer not believing what I was reading. Last night I rang his widow, his 3rd wife, to say how sorry I was for her. We swapped e-mail addresses and she sent me some recent pictures of him. I sat here once again staring into the screen at this poor old man who had been my father. This is just to say of any of you out there, are not talking to anybody for what ever reason, THEN DO. It's so sad when it's too late. It can never be mended. Jo. |
