I just had an e-mail from Strump saying I'd missed her thread, so I typed my name into the search box and found a thread wishing my husband and me a happy wedding anniversary in august and I don't seem to have said thanks. So thanks. As you may have read, he took me out to lunch in a lovely Bucks village Italian restaurant, but before that we spend a fascinating few hours in the records office in Aylesbury finding out about my gt gt gt grandfather's settlement, and co-incidentally finding the actual house where my gt grandfather (on another branch) died. Thanks again and sorry you must think I'm so rude. nell (and Mel)
