Thanks all. Her name was Margaret Sweaton (nee Tye), and she died on 11/11/1974 I think. She was from the Pontefract area of west yorkshire and died in leeds, aged 36. I know that she had at least 2 brothers and one sister but that's about all. She was buried in pontefract. I've tried loads of names on here and sent so many e-mails that I've almost (actually) lost track. The two Tye's that are in the phone book for pontefract, I took the liberty of calling them, are not as far as they know any relative. |

Hi all, I've been trying to find relatives of my grandma, who died in 1974 when I was just a few months old. She has a relatively un-common name but I still seem at a loss as to where to look next. I've tried the familysearch site (which is closed for upgrades), and all the rest seem a bit expensive. Any ideas anyone? Thanks |
