Yesterday lunchtime our cat RT went out and that was the last we saw of him till 10.15 tonight. I have been frantic with worry as the fireworks last night were worse than they were guy faulks night, they were even bad tonight. I have been through every emotion one could have when their pet has gone missing for any lenght of time. Iv'e walked the streets calling him, crying, unable to eat and feeling sick with worry. then at 10.15 I noticed wet footprints in the conservatory and found him cowering under our bed and had to tempt him out. He is now asleep at my feet in the dog basket with the dog looking gooey eyed at him..."contentment all round" Lynn

Lynn so pleased for you - give him a hug from me. My cat, Digger, died a year ago - haven't been able to replace him yet! Anne

Oh Lynn, I'm so glad you found him. My cat has been in the bathroom cupboard on the towels (right next to a radiator) for about a week!! It's a pain, I'll have to wash the towels, but she feels safe (and warm!!) there. maggie

Why not Anne ,if you don't mind me asking? You sound as though you love pets and their must be loads of little kitties around looking for someone to love. Now i'm moving somewhere away from all the main roads and next to open spaces ,i will be getting a dog ,or cat ,or even both because i miss having a furry buddy around.Maggie ,your cat could do with a radiator basket ,designed for cats that you hang over the front of a radiator ,just think ,cat where you can see it ,and no more dirty sheets.Fred.ptfg.

So glad to hear that your wee cat is safe & sound, know how you must have felt, I worry about my "old boy" he is a 16 year old tabby, and getting a bit poor sighted, however, his mate our giner tom of 6 years, really looks after him. The old boy likes to sit outside in the front garden when it gets dark, he must feel safer when he cannot see anyone, but he soon scoots back indoors if he hears a car or voices. Ginger mate, sits with him, then he brings him back indoor, gives him a kiss!! and then goes out the back door cat flap, to do his own thing. Its lovely to see them together, but I hate to think that one day the old boy will go off to pussy heaven, poor wee ginger will miss him so much . We are quite daft us cat lovers!!!
