Has anyone else read a book by Jenny Cockell about her past life. It was very convincing. She lives in england but believes that in a past life she was an irish woman who died young leaving a young family. She has actually met some of her past life children (that must have been a strange experience) and some of them are convinced she is their mother reincarnated, others don't want anything to do with her. She had been having dreams about this family from an early age and although I have never experienced anything like that I would love to be regressed to see if I had had any past lives that could be traced through parish records etc. Carolyn

I never believed in it - until I was regressed. A Chartered Psychologist friend, when he heard that I had a sceptical interest, referred me to a hypnotist in the Aylesbury area, who specialised in regression. There were 4 people (3 subjects) at the session, which was a leisurely 2-day affair. As one person was regressed, the other two witnessed the proceedings and took notes. There was also a tape-recording of the each of the 3 regressions. I was regressed to 1340 so checking personal detail was not possible, but I was amazed at how much factual, historical and social information came from my mouth, about which I had no previous interest or knowledge. With the other 2 people, both intelligent women, neither of whom I had previously known, it was possible to authenticate their stories. One of the ladies refuted what she had said under hypnosis as being "imagination" but subsequent enquiries indicated that she had detailed the life and death of a person in France of whom she had no previous information.. I did have a fairly convincing BBC documentary VHS video about the subject but I gave it to Tracy Blackburn, author of the thread "Life after Death - does anyone believe". Until then I had not believed that I could be hypnotised. The session cost each of us £75 Len

When my boys were very young we lived near a canal and often used to go for walks along the banks. One of our twins used to go stiff with fear when we tried to take him along there. I had forgotten this until last weekend when we were talking about past lives and he related that he had been regressed when he lived in London Years ago and his regression showed that he had died by drowning in a canal in a previous life.

I am absolutely certain that I have lived before in other lives.I thnk I was a little urchin working in a factory at the beginning of the Industrial revolution. I am sure I died in a factory accident. To this day I have a quite irrational and unexplained fear of large machinery and huge wheels.Rose
