It did my little heart good today when I went to help at the school my neice is Deputy Head ( I am a Voluntary Helper) and go once or twice a week to help with 6-7 year old,s Today they were making paintings and colouring,s for assembly tomorrow for Remembrance Day and they had been learning over the past weeks about both the War's. It was so good to know that they know so much about the War and what there family's did too. They were telling all about Trench foot and what they slept on etc. Just thought I would share that with you.

My kids learnt all about WW2 last year. I try to keep it in their minds as well, made them read through the papers with the DD anniversary reports. My son's school will be going to church for their rememberance service and silence. Kxx

My son is learning about ww2 this term for his topic. He is doing a project and the school is having a day this month when the children will dress like evacuee's. I believe they should learn what those brave men fought for, in both world wars and the sacrifices they made for us all. Diane
