Maz (the Royal One) in the East End 9256

Maz (the Royal One) in the East End 9256 Report 10 Nov 2004 21:07

Monday - went for the first time to see my baby sister's grave. She was born in the 60's and lived for only 30 minutes. My dad arranged her funeral and had it carried out while mum was still in hospital - quite common in those days. She was buried in a public grave, with 4 unrelated people, despite there being space in other family plots. This is apparently quite common too. Mum has never visited but wanted to find out about placing a memorial. The area was not as bad as feared, now it is up to mum to decide between a stone (already 3 on there), a plaque in the Chapel, or an entry in the book of remembrance.
