My Nan always said, "As old as my tongue but older than my teeth" which used to drive me mad. I'm still 39. I was in Paris on the day I would have turned 40 so, as I was out of the country, it didn't count. And as I didn't get to be 40 I'm still 39, despite the evidence on the GC photos page. Gwynne

Happy Birthday Mary- I am older than any of you .One day I was too young to go in a pub,then I was old enough but they refused to serve me as I didn't look the age although by then I was a young Mum.That and teaching took up the interim years.I was thiry then 40 and suddenly the years had skids under them and now,as I am 64.I do not know where the years have gone,but they went very quickly It has been a very full life and I hope there is plenty more to come. 29, but no-one ever believes me, frequently get mistaken for looking about 23. Must be getting younger as each year passes, LOL

I am 37 but with grey hair and scruffy clothes I look a bit older. But I was very excited the other day, I went to the co op and asked for some sparklers, and she asked me for identification. I got my drivers licence out straight away and said look I have the old scraggy one and showed her the 1967 written on it. But she did apologise saying that she dosnt like asking someone like me, so obliously she knew I was over 18 so I was a bit disappointed in the end.

I'm 40 but feel about 18,at the mo, but that wouldn't quite be right as that would make me only 6 when i had my eldest son lol, but i think i've been given a new lease on life since i had my youngest son who is now 3,i got younger as he gets older hehe,

I'm 31 and I love it. I don't look it though, I look younger, for me that's definately a good thing! It doesn't really matter how old you are though, it's how happy you are that counts. Jack xx
