I paid a research to find information on my uncle who died in Port Elizabeth in 1927/28. Arthur Henry Bartlett had a wife and two daughter when he died who where place in childrens homes. His mother Emma Sophia Bartlett reg his death in S.A. However i rec'd information on a Thomas Bartlett born 8.10.1927 who was later placed in a childrens home also and died on 25.12.1928. His mother lived at 9 Dorp Lane Cape Town and his grandmother lived at 3 Dorp Lane Cape Town, the names that i can see on the documents are Dinah Bartlett. If these belong to your family i am more than happy to send the files to you as they mean nothing to me and i just can't throw them away in case a family member is looking for them, these Bartletts where from England orginally..Hope i have made someones day ..cheers kerry |
