Susie, the local celebrity. The local council has asked Susie to switch on the Christmas Lights. They wanted someone local to do the honours and one of the councillers, who serves on the same PCC as me, suggested that Susie would be ideal. She explained about what has been happening to Susie this years and they contacted us to see if she would do it. Typical Susie, "Why me?" Her dad and I think its wonderful and so on Thursday evening at 7.00 she pulls the switch, which lights up Morley and starts the firework display.

Will try and put piccy on photopage, but don't hold your breath. Not very good at the technical side! No, Julie, no posh frock. Woolly gloves and scarves as necessity it's always freezing here on switch on night.

Great for Susie to light up Morley.If I wasn't working Thursday night i would come over and watch her switching on the lights. Should be in the Evening Post and then the council may give you a photo of Susie. She deserves to be turning on the lights what she has gone through. Love to Susie and good luck for Thursday night.
