If I am up in the night I shall nudge all threads that haven't been 'covertly' (haha) nudged already to restore the status quo lol Wonder how that would go down? Ann - you are obviously in 'the gang' that deserves 'special' treatment lol Magsxx

Re Lynda's point - and others. I can see the value of nudging useful threads - but someone had actually nudged my thread asking if anyone in the Kent Mob wanted to buy my redundant scanner :O Cant see the point in that one at all LOL (and it wasnt me - I was fast akip at 5.20am) ;p

If threads are THAT interesting, then they would stay at the top by merit, rather than by continual nudging. Maz. XX

Hi, I don't mind invisible nudges on useful threads. Actually, I prefer them. The advice to read before posting thread is regularly nudged. When I do it I then delete the nudge so that only information is left, not a line of messages saying "nudge" or "bump". If people left nudges on the longstanding useful threads they would be huge. I also sometimes delete nudges on requests for look ups because people may see an "answer" has been given and not read the message thinking the request has been answered. Gwynne

yes I too noticed the invisible nudges on some threads. At least they weren't controversial ones this time. If you wanna know who it is, well, the time narrows it down - not many from the UK on here at that time. Its just beyond me why the nudges have to be deleted, why not just leave the message on there so everyone can see who has been pushing their threads to the top? I would love it if the lady herself could explain 'cos it has been puzzling me for AGES!! Maz. XX

I noticed it too - and I also noticed just who was around at 5am-ish! Not a poltergeist but the phantom nudger/s! Mandy :)))

I now it's early and I aint been awake long - but! I just came on to check emails - find I have a new message which has apparently already been read - and loads of threads from recent days all apparently nudged around 5.20am but with no new message - too spooky for this early :O
