1961 Barnehurst 1971 Croydon 1981 Portsmouth 1991 Abbey Wood and it really didn'y matter anymore by 2001 since they were only interested in where I lived. In 1981 I was staying with relatives and in 1991 with friends, so appear twice on those censuses, but the government changed the rules and thwarted my attempts to be at a different address on every single census night. Spoilsports. I could have done my little bit to make the statistics even more unreliable. Brenda

We took a photocopy of our completed 2001 census form before we handed it in, it's now at the back of all our other census records, should make it easier for our descendents, if someone doesn't just chuck it out first! Carolyn

I was in Langley in Berkshire.... place I was born.... had just got back from Italy, so i shouldn't be hard to find if anyone ever looks for me in 100 years time!!

For the last 2 census I was at my present address and for 1981 was just round the corner- completely masking the fact that in between I lived in Germany. 1971 I was in Sutton Coldfield and before that, Hampshire. I'd better leave a note of all this in my tree.

I was in Beckton East London for the 2001 census,for the 1991 and 1981 i was Sunderland.I remember them coming round with forms for the 1981 when I was 8 and i asked my mam what it was for. Now im up in Scotland so theyll never find me lol Anna:-)

I was at home in Monkston, Milton Keynes, although I can't actually recall completing the census ??? I'm sure I must have though.

I was nowhere near where I was the Previous Census night. Let's see 1941 Wimbledon 1951 Bromley Kent 1961 Southampton 1971 Kings Norton Birmingham 1981 Northfield Birmingham 1991 Moseley Birmingham 2001 Gosport Playing hide and seek with my descendants.

Last census taken in 2001 is technically incorrect for me as I moved out of my house into my new one on 31st March 2001. However I'd already completed the forms for the census so it will have me living in London instead of Surrey. Naomi
