Yes,they are up from last year. That sounds so awful but I will explain Last year I went all minimalistic and just put gold ribbons above the pictures and where they hung down I pinned the cards,Gold ones only in that room. It looked really good.After the event when all of cards had been put away I left the gold bows in place as I liked them.They have been up ever since.Now what do I do for Christmas decs.? |

Absolutely NOT. I generally get the tree and stuff down from the loft in the 2nd week of dec, and put up the decorations a bit at a time. That way you don't get the full monty till Xmas eve, and then after Xmas day, i start taking things away a bit at a time so it doesn't look completely bare on 12th night. nell |

My mum bought some white fluffy lights for xmas, but she is very girly like i am, so we have decided to keep them for just normal home decoration and now they are around the door in the living room lol! xx |

Have you seen the previews for the new film coming out at Xmas - reminds me of the Coke adverts. Its called Polar Express - I think its Disney, certainly animated - about a boy who travels on the Polar Express train to visit Santa. Tom Hanks is one of the voices - it looks magical, can't wait to see it. Maz. XX |

Daniel, my daughter always thinks Christmas starts with the Coca Cola advert. She still gets excited when it 'arrives'. Decorations will go up weekend of 4th / 5th Decemeber as the family will be arriving for a gathering the next weekend. Jacky |

Ours just go up when we feel it is the time. No set date. It differ from year to year. I always look out for the Coca-Cola adverts with the wagon and all the lights. One of my earliest christmas memories that ad is, along with the Toys-R-Us one. |
