Good grief Jim, you and your rules !! I'm afraid I'm not old enough to remember Stanley Matthews, although obviously I know of him and his manner of play. I'm sure there are players with an exemplary disciplinary record now too (I just cant think of any off the top of my head - Gary Lineker was a well known paragon of virtue, not that long ago that he played). Personally, I think it's a mans game, and a little aggression can be a good thing.
