Winter Drawers Ever Near Report 18 Nov 2004 17:13

Anyone read the article in The Mail on Monday about the family being featured in Truants on BBC1 at 8pm tonight? The article reveals that the parents get £23,000 in benefits, have 2 houses knocked into one, free accommodation, pay no council tax. Kids truancy record is appauling and they run riot on their estate. It will be interesting to see them in action. Will reserve my judgement until after the programme.... after all they may be deserving of my hard earned money and it may well be that they don't get enough help from the school or Government as they have been quoted as saying.
