I've just come back from my graduation ceremony at Bristol Cathedral. I should now write BSc (Hons) after my name (have a degree in Psychology). I was really nervous because I don't have many friends there in Applied Sciences, just a lot of aquaintances. Some of them used to be considered friends but when I was going through my worst state of depression they more or less left me to it. They all stayed friends and I felt very left out when they were all having their pictures taken with each other etc. I only had my picture taken with my parents. All those horrible icky crap feelings of inadequacy came flooding back. Still have those feelings with me now. Oh I'll shut up now! Chloe

CONGRATULATIONS CHLOE! Sod the rest of them--do you really want friends like that anyway? I'm sure some of them feel very inadequate because they were unable to be a good friend to you. Isn't it horrible that uni can still be like the school playground? You go out into the world and shine--that's the best way to show them! Lots of love, Sal.XX

Chloe, Many congratulations. How well you have done and how hard you must have worked. You had your photograph taken with two of the most important people in anybodys life. How you will treasure that, long after so called friends have been forgotten. Jean x.

Thank you everyone. It really does mean a lot. It;s nice to hear that I'm not 'just being silly' which is what I'm used to hearing. I was wishing that my grandparents could have lived to see me there, to see me pass my GCSEs even! I miss them on days like these. But I'm a soppy old cow most of the time anyway! LOL Natalie - most degrees are hard. I love Psychology so I can really slag it off! The only thing that I didn't like at uni was the amount of statistics you had to get your head around, and use the formulas and computer programmes etc. I love Attachment Theory!! Piaget was the bloke I couldn't stand.... he was so crap! I look at my nephew now, and he would not fit into Piaget's stages at all.... he gave no flexibility. Anyway, will shut up now. Take care Chloe xxx
