Hi Bendy, we sorted out the problem with the birth certificates. We still cant find any death record for the twin Lily so maybe you are right she could have been taken away at birth because there was something wrong with her. thanks for your help Rhonda

Bendy, We were told mother and baby died on the 5th July 1912.One twin was still alive my nana.We have now found out the mother did not die till 1915 but cant find any trace of the baby Lily. Maybe you are right and she could have had problems. I will have to look further for a death certificate for her. It would have been nice to think she could have still been alive aged 92 but who knows thanks Rhonda

Bendy. I have just checked the numbers on the birth certificates of the twins and I have made a mistake the numbers do not follow. The eldest twin the number is cm630998 and the second cm886618 do you no what this could mean Rhonda

Hi Bendy, yes, to your question it is said that the twin Lily died at birth but there is no record of this. Rhonda

Hi Bendy, Yes it has a time of birth, Lily was born 15 minutes after my nana May.The birth certificates are the same apart from the time of birth. Rhonda

Can anyone tell me I don't no the answer, if a child is born and is said to have died? on the same day 5th June 1912 then was registered on the 15th of July 1912. Would this mean the child lived.
