We have had robins all year. In fact they nested in our garden and raised one chick. He/she was so funny like a little round puff ball, when it was learning to fly it would launch itself and you never knew where it was going to land, one day it was in the window box. anyway it flew off one day to us breathing a sigh of relief, such a responsibility, keeping the cat away from it!!!! My Mum's garden is a haven for all kinds of feathery friends - she's even had a Heron in there once - can you imagine the sight - one of her cats decided to stalk it!! In his dreams LOL She seems to have Robins pretty much all year round, altho they are obviously more noticable at this time of year. They always follow her round as she is gardening - picking things out from where she has dug over. Aren't they the cheekiest sweetest little things :))

Val, For the last month or so I've had a Robin hovering around me whenever I clean the Rabbit ang guinea pig out. I think he's after the insects under the run! He's so cheeky, and gets so close I have to watch where I put anything - and when I say hovering - he literally does - level with my face!! Makes the grotty job of 'mucking out' enjoyable :) maggie
