Thanks for all your help, you have all given me some great ideas. I think we are going to get something like a friendship rose or something with that sort of link. Ive looked on the internet but cant find anything so I shall seek advice from a shop. Thanks again.

joanne if they like roses, you can buy a patio rose, its called special friend. The flower heads are about the size of a 50pence piece. dont know what colours you can get,i've got a very pale peach one.you dont have to have it in a pot you can put it in the flowerbed. sharon

A hamper of luxury goods is a nice idea, particularly if you know things they especially like to eat and drink. A garden voucher if they are interested in gardening. a restaurant voucher for a meal if they eat out or a theatre voucher if they go to the theatre - depends how avtive they are really. If you spend too much they will be embarrassed as I am sure they would say they didn't do it for reward. A lovely thank you card would be nice. Or even a big bouquet of flowers to brighten up their winter. Ann Glos

Or how about a nice silver photo frame(s) for their fav family snaps? Was also going to suggest a nice shrub or summat for the garden too :)) What about a nice bench for them to sit on in the garden?

They do love their garden, I was wondering if there was a tree out there called a peace tree or something like that?

Our elderly neighbours have been fantastic and have helped us out recently with alot of issues. Had we not had their support over recent matters my husband would not be here now. All this time they have had their own family problems but they put them aside to be our back bones. Due to this we want to buy them something extra special but dont know where to start, please help..
