Saw that. 28 million of them kept in squalid conditions for us to eat. Oh and not tasty enough so stick a boned chicken, goose and turkey inside each other. Forget it I'll have steak.

hi jo I don't believe in killing something for fun, but whats going to happen when we are over run with foxes etc. as for bad conditions for turkeys and other animals, yes its wrong, but there will always be someone trying to do something and rescue these suffering animals, and make the public aware, ie animal testing, will they ever succeed fully, probably not, as it goes on all over the world, and to some its their living. sandra

Two wrongs dont make a right do they? Hunting is barbaric, is done for sport, and causes suffering to the animal which is ripped to shreads. If the fox population goes up, kill them humanely. As for the turkeys, they are bred for food, not sport. Its entirely different. I dont mean that I think this is right to keep them in such conditions. This is cruel. This also applies to the way chickens are kept and other livestock. How about the way some animals are killed? Halal meat (i think...correct me if im wrong) the animal bleeds to death. By the way Im not an animal rights fanatic. I eat meat along with millions others. I think we have to get things into perspective thats all. Elaine x

We've had all this hiatus with the animal rights people defending foxes. But what was it really all about? I think it's to bring down the class structures in this country, nothing to do with the poor old fox. There was something on the TV this morning showing the diobolical conditions that Turkeys are kept in before they are killed. Does anyone do anything about that???? NO.
