For those others who I know are on here who, like me, love the jammy dodger type biscuits that you can usually only get in a tin or pack of mixed biscuits ..... you can now buy a WHOLE PACK OF THEM !!!! They are called Jacobs Jam and Cream and I've just bought a 'special value twin pack' in Morrisons. And I'm eating them all by myself cos everyone else is out. And NO YOU CAN'T HAVE ANY !!!!! And if anyone else already knew this and didn't tell me then I will be sending the biccy plod round to you. M A Z. X X (getting wider by the minute) |

Ooh, didn't know that Maz, usually settle for fox's jam creams!.. Am sure I read somewhere, that you had connections with the Red Lion, in Hinxton Cambs, have been there too, I grew up in Duxford, right next door to Hinxton, two villages away from being an Essex girl!.. |

Rose - what do you mean 'will get' !!! I'm trying to get RID of them ... well, not trying very hard as you can see! Christine, yes, my gt gt gt grandfather lived in Hinxton and his brother had the Red Lion for some years. Have just met the brother's gt grandson (my 3rd cousin twice removed) for the first time. He still lives in Sawston and is 92!! His grandfather was born in the Red Lion. My gt gt gt grandfather was the carpenter, so I am sure he must have done some work in his brother's pub! Maz. XX |

Maz, You can keep those biscuits all for yourself. I don't mind. (I hate them). Now if it was chocolate digestives you were scoffing that would be different. I would be very jealous. (Hope I haven't offended anyone by using the wrong grammar. Never could tell my wases from my weres. See Grammar thread. What a riot. Jean x. |
