I have just had a telephone call from Fred's wife. Fred has had his operation. He is in the recovery room and is fine. Everything has gone well. His wife has been to see him today and will be there again tomorrow when he has woken up completley from the anesthetic. Will let you have more information as i get it. Jennyx*****WEDNESDAY*****Fred is fine. Still a bit groggy yesturday, due to anesthetic and extra morphine. Will be sitting out in a chair today. Senior Registrar has said, " He will be up and walking down the corridor tomorrow" If all goes well, could be home for the weekend. Great news, isn't it?*********************************************** Thursday 10.30pm.. Fred is making excellent progress. He has been walking up and down stairs. Actually walked to the Xray Department. Everything is healing nicely and all draining tubes, etc have been removed. If he keeps progressing he will be home on Sunday or Monday. Please keep your fingers crossed. So chuffed.Jenny. *********************************************** FRIDAY 8PM.. GREAT NEWS. FRED IS GOING HOME. Fred's wife has just rung me. Fred is going home Saturday teatime. Hasn't he done well. Jenny
