Is Maya suddenly an explosives expert or something, that was quite a kaboom!!! Not sure how a solicitor would have the know- how to set that up!!!

As from this week in NZ, Coro goes from twice a week screenings to three - thats an hour each day. Over on Sky - UKTV are screening classic episodes every day. Talk about overkill! Finding something to watch on the umpteen channels means a sore finger from surfing.

Yes get rid of the soaps and give us real tv again. The great ones I remember were The Duchess of Duke Street. It was such great writing the dialogue was lifted straight from the pages of the book. Then there was Blot on the Landscape, When the Boat comes In, Poldark, Bouquet of Barbed Wire, Upstairs Downstairs, The Beiderbeck Affair, Z Cars, The Sweeney. Memories...

well, ime a corrie fan,but the scriptwriters have takem..artistic licence..too far. you dont get involved in a big blast like that, get blown into the street, and get up with just a few scratches. total rubbish, treating the viewers like plonkers. bryan...sack the scriptwriters.

The last time I watched Corrie was when Albert Tatlock, Ena Sharples, Mrs Walker, the Ogdens, Eddie Yates et al were in it.

Hi Lesley It hasnt got to the bottom of the barrel then??? Nine months ago that Cilla hadnt arrived had she? I can't stand her, Janet Battesby was enough without bringing that Cilla one in and keeping her in which is unforgivable. I liked Les Battesby, Kirk, Tyrone, Jack Duckworth & Vera of course but she really needles me too much with her wesley, such limp story lines are acceptable for a short time but not for so long. Funny people seem to mention the likes of Fawlty Towers, Only Fools Dad's Army etc., I liked Rising damp and Porridge too but all those were comedy, so is Corrie now going to be listed as Comedy? Eastenders is no better either, soaps can be a waste of time. But so many of us still watch them, strange. Pat x
