Oh Confession! 4 or 5 years back I got involved in a bit of finger saluting with a man who took exception to the fact I was adhering to the speed limit. He was on the back bumper all the way up the A5183 to Friars Wash where the A5183 joins the M1 north. Now I have done a bit of racing in my time - Karts and F2 stock cars - so when I got to the curving slip road to the M1 I didn't back off too much, he tried to follow me and slid wide and clouted the Armco! Result! |

You women!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!You have Absolutely no Idea how important it is, to get in front of one more car......in a queue,especially if the one being over tooken is a woman Its a blokey thing...............( sometimes)... just plain bad manners and irresponsible driving........ I mean i was in a queue the other day, and what do you think overtook us, on the inside?...........one of those mini scooter things.........perishin cheek........... |

Sat in the queue at traffic lights this morning. They change to green - we all move off. In my mirror I see some clever herbert flying down the BUS LANE (in the wrong already) and then he seriously cuts me up to get into the queue - a gap which is already closing up cos everyone is slowing for the camera ahead. So I got out of my pram! I flashed my lights and held my hands up in a 'what's the point' gesture. WELL - he took great exception to me pointing out the error of his ways. Kept braking suddenly in front of me so that I nearly rammed him. I gesture him to 'move along' - he pulls over and starts waving his arm out the window to join him. I held back; he moves off then does the same again - this time the road is wider so I floor it and 'wave' to him. He then ended up even further back in the queue and obviously upset someone else cos I saw him flashing them. Funny thing is tho, once he realised it was a woman he wouldn't come alongside me to turn right at the next set of lights LOL |
