My sister's foster daughter has two strong heartbeats in the womb following IVF treatment (first attempt). After years of trying unsuccessfully to have a baby, she and her hubbie are delighted. Fingers crossed for all of them! Met up on Boxing Day, her scan this week was fine but she has mild epilepsy (only at night) and this has gone worse with the pregnancy but they daren't up her medication for fear of stunting the babies' development. She has a long way to go (not past 3 months yet), what a worry for them both. |

Met my sister for lunch this week and she says her daughter is telling everyone in sight - it's such early days, we worry that the 'let down' will be so very traumatic, if anything goes wrong........but understand her jubilation. Thanks everyone, hope to post good news next Summer! |
