No (thank goodness), but I know a man who did! In our office one 1st April - yes, 1st April - he was given a message to ring our local garden centre and ask to speak to a Miss Rosemary Bush. She was the "wages clerk" and the employee to be enquired about was C.O.M. Post. And do you know what? He rang them and did just that! Hook, line and sinker! And he was in his 40's at the time, so not a novice! Glenys. |

As a new employee, in your first job or otherwise, have you every been sent on a ficticious errand. My first job was in a bank and I was given a phone number and told to contact a Miss Llyon. You guessed, it was Edinburgh Zoo! |
