Some years a go I found a trophy in a skip, on it is the inscription. One Mile Open won by C. J. Penny Mill Hill April 2nd 1910 Any one have a relative by that name, place ect. How it got down here to Eastleigh (Hants) is another mystery.

Probably cross country mile if not just a straight mile run. No other info on it except makers mark and EPNS mark

Hi! There is a Sports Club which was founded in 1881 called "Mill Hill Sports Hall" in north west London, for all types of sports, wonder if it came from there. http://www(.)millhill(.)co(.)uk/ Just a thought Catherine

I collect antiques, but I probably would hand it over to some one who thinks like me We need to save our heritage not dump it in skips. (Come to think of it thats most of us on this site. why eles do we do it.)
