Can someone tell me how to find out if a relative served in the forces in WW1. I have visited the National Archives website and I have found a couple of exact name matches listed on the Medal cards but as these do not give any further details like date of birth or next of kin how can I be sure I have got the right person. I have no concrete evidence my relative served in WW1 and there is no living relative can help me. All suggestions will be very much appreciated. |

...and there's an utterly off topic board on that site, too, so you can still have fun there!! :) Joy |
