URINE RISK TO BRIDGE ------------- A landmark bridge could collapse because locals keep relieving themselves on it.---------- Urine is rotting one of the steel pillars supporting the Ampera bridge on the Indonesian island of Sumatra.------------ And that means the bridge has begun to list and even rock during heavy traffic. ----------------- "We are concerned that one of its main support piers has been weakened by urine, as it is a popular spot for locals to relieve themselves," a public works official told the Jakarta Post. --------------------- He added that the acidic fluid's corrosive forces could attribute to an eventual collapse of the bridge. ------------ Vehicles weighing more than one tonne are being diverted from the structure. ------------------- Makes new definition of going for a RUSTY LEE !
