You asked if it was a song. Not a song, more a silly rhyme. Here it is, almost, in its entirety (I hope!) I know an old lady who swallowed a fly, I don't know why she swallowed a fly, perhaps she'll die. I know an old lady who swallowed a spider, that wriggled and jiggled and tickled in side 'er, she swallowed the spider to catch the fly, I don't know why she swallowed the fly, perhaps she'll die. I know an old lady who swallowed a bird, how absurd to swallow a bird, she swallowed the bird to catch the spider, that wriggled and jiggled and tickled inside'er, she swallowed the spider to catch the fly, I don't know why she swallowed the fly, perhaps she'll die. I know an old lady who swallowed a cat, now fancy that, she swallowed a cat......(do you get the idea?) I know an old lady who swallowed a dog, she was all agog when she swallowed the dog...etcetera... I know an old lady who swallowed a cow, I don't know how she swallowed the cow.......and so on... I know an old lady who swallowed a horse, she's dead, of course.................. Got to rush away, Casualty's just started, bye for now, Brian, :-))
