As I am lucky enough to work in a library, one of my colleagues put this aside for me when it came in. Have had a little flick and it seems very good. It is NOT written by anyone on the programme, although I think that Nick Barratt bloke advised him a bit. The chap who writes it is basically someone who has caught the bug - so you get a 'warts and all' account of researching in the 21st century. It is humourous and informative. Each episode of the TV series gets a couple of pages and ties up to a different type of research. I would recommend it for any newbies, as a gift for someone who has enjoyed the series and may want to take it further, or as a good read for any of us!! Hope this is useful to someone!! Maz. XX
