Researching John Buchanan in 1702 & have found Donald Buchanan & CIRSTAN NCRUIMMEN as parents . The name NCRUIMMEN doesnt come up on the free searh on Scotlands People which is where I got the birth from! Any suggestions on an anglised version of NCRUIMMEN? Slainte (My only gaelic) Jean

NC and NIC are forms of the Mc and Mac names - it is possibly a derivative of McCrimmon/McCrimmond mail me further details - such as area etc and I will check Parish records for you
