If they get rid of the coppers everything will have to be rounded up or down to nearest 5p, and more likely up than down!! I find 5p's are a bit small, worse than 2p's. |

Its not so much a case of throwing them away as weighing the value against the effort involved in retrieval. Personally, I would not bend down to recover a 5p piece, let alone coppers. And if I do bend down that far, always spend a moment or two considering what else I might do whilst down there. Len |

How strange that people throw them away. I've collected well over £2.00 in the past year from what I've picked up off the floor! Most of it from some of the schools I visit for work. Another few years and I'll be able to buy one certificate with the proceeds!!! |
