Had a meal out at a local pub recently (well known pub/restaurant chain). Was a little disappointed in the quality of one of the items and the speed (or lack of) of the sevive so filled in a comment card. Got a letter from them today, apologising.. and we got.... wait for it... £5 off at our next visit !

lol Paul....the worst meal we ever had was when they served me half hour before my partner. When his eventually arrived we found the centre of the meat was still frozen, the second attempt was the same....the Manager said that the chef would buy us a pint (ONE) We said....no thanks stuff it! and left....lol An annerversary to remember....not!

Good for you Paul, positive result. How are these places ever going to know if they've got it right, if people don't complain when the service isn't there.
